Mechanical Power Transmission
The following modules can be used to study mechanical power transmission in a self-paced activity where the coach can just be available for guidance as needed. They are inspired by Yoshihito Isogawa's Power Function book: Machines & Mechanisms. We have expanded on his original 8 modules and added a manual input crank so that a power function and power source is no longer required.

To use the modules as a teaching tool, use the attached game boards to challenge your student to route the power transmission from input to output. It get's more and more challenging as one input module needs to supply power to more than one output.
